Aims and Objectives

Our aims and objectives reflect our Christian ethos and are in accordance with the principles of the Early Years Foundation Stage :

A Unique Child

Positive Relationships

Enabling Environments

Learning & Development

At Samuels we aim to show God’s love to the children and their families and seek to support them .

We offer a fun, loving, safe, learning environment. Each child is recognised and loved as a unique individual .

In our Nursery we embrace child-led learning with free choice play both inside and outside, which is carefully planned in order to give our children the "wow" factor and best purposeful play based learning we can offer . Our experienced team carefully plan adult led learning too, this is based around topics, individual child interests and parent suggestions.

We pride ourselves on being an inclusive, diverse nursery. We aim to incorporate "Cultural Capital "into our plans, and activities. This gives children additional learning they may not experience outside of nursery life and offers a broader range of opportunities.

We actively promote British Values in our Nursery, whereby positive relationships will be promoted whilst encouraging good manners and fostering self-confidence. We promote turn taking, sharing and following rules. We practise our table manners and encourage togetherness.

We love to learn about the world and the community around us demonstrating God’s love in action to everyone.
