Collection of Child

Regarding the collection of your child from nursery:

We ask our parents and carers to be punctual when collecting your children from Samuels.

Only authorised adults whom the parents and carers have authorised to collect the child will be allowed to take the children home.

Written permission is required for us to allow anybody else to collect your child. If this arrangement was to take place on a single occasion, either you or the person dropping the child off that day will need to sign in our special book, letting us know who will be collecting the child.

If the arrangement was to be either permanently or for a specific period of time, we will still need the parent or carer to sign in our designated book letting us know who the person or persons collecting the child are. You will also need to specify the period of time the new arrangement will last for.

If for whatever reason the parent or carer was to be detained, we request that you ring our office as soon as possible to let us know the reason for your delay and how long it will take for you to get to the nursery. If this period of time was to be longer than 10 minutes, we request that you make alternative arrangements and that you inform us. If we have not been informed, we may not allow that person to collect your child.

Under no circumstances will we allow anybody who has not been authorised to take your child with them.
